Unknown plants grow at CCAG

Note: aliens are not real, just not outside of the CCAG.

What is this plant? I intended to plant a pineapple here, but instead this came out! Sure doesn't look like a pineapple to me!

I planted pineapple in this pot, but this strange sprout appeared. A few weeks ago, I managed to collect pineapple seeds from a pineapple in order to see if they would grow. I looked online to see what the sprouts would look like when they'd appear, and it seemed like they would look like a mini version of the adult plant. But the plant that sprouted in a week wasn't a pineapple. It was a pomelo. A pomelo is like a giant green orange that tastes like grapefruit and sour. When it sprouted, I thought it was a pomegranate plant that might of been mixed in with the soil. As the plant got bigger, I smelled one of it's leaves. It smelled, well, citrusy. So I concluded that this was a plant from the Citrus genus. There's this stereotype that all citrus plants smell the same and look the same. But that is untrue. Each and every plant species has unique leaves and scents. I noticed that I was eating a lot of pomelo and grapefruit recently, and saved some of the seeds. When I was outside, I spit some of the seeds out. That same place was the exact space where I dug soil up to place in the pot. So potentially the sprout could of grown from there. Next, since I have a lemon tree outside, I checked the leaves on it to see if it would match the one I grew. They certainly looked similar, but the leaves were more wide and more glossy. To confirm that my plant was indeed a pomelo, I looked up "pomelo sprout" on Google. All of the images were almost identical to the plant I sprouted.

Another indicator that this was a pomelo is the seed. I pulled up the plant to transplant it, and the seed was still connected to the plant. It was larger than a pip of a Lemon or an Orange.

I also planted Toyon Berries. Two weeks ago, I got some Toyon berries from Los Gatos and mixed them with some soil. I then planted them in a tiny pot. After a week of no shoots, I gave up on them. However, I still cared for the plants, and one day they sprouted. The plants were small, and I could of confused them with weeds which sometimes grow in the soil. So I looked up "toyon berry sprout," and it was confirmed that I did grow a Toyon tree. When the seedlings grow a bit bigger, they will be planted in a bigger pot, and then finally outside in the Atlas Nature sanctuary.

Toyon sprouts look like your-average everyday stereotypical "green plant," but will grow more saw-like leaves later!
